Overall, this is a pretty amazing experience. I had decided to make a side trip to Paris while I had visited London. I honestly did not care where I sat in the train just as long as I had made it to Paris.

Taking the Eurostar from London (St. Pancras) to Paris (Gare Du Nord) was what you expect from train ride: smooth, fast, on-time, comfortable seats, a clean train, plenty of luggage space, good amenities (two buffet cars and booze), and some great views. Boarding wasn't ideal ... and claustrophobics will hate going through the Chunnel.

Taking Eurostar from London to Paris is one of our best decisions when we did our European tour. The International station in St. Pancras only required travelers to check in 45 minutes prior to departure as compared to airports.
