Rainforest Cafe

About
The Rainforest Cafe is a unique and exciting themed restaurant in Piccadilly Circus, which is the only one of its kind in the UK.
Designed as an exotic jungle that recreates the sights and sounds of the Amazon rainforest, it is perfect for families, couples, groups or big kids.
The international à la carte menu includes classic favourites, such as beer-battered fish and chips, burgers, caesar salad, pulled pork and quesadillas.
Make a reservation or walk in for a memorable lunch or dinner surrounded by magnificent rainforest animals, including elephants, jaguars, crocodiles, gorillas, mechanical butterflies and orangutans.
Take a seat on one of our Insta- famous animal barstools in the mushroom-themed bar. And don’t worry; you can leave your umbrella at home for this underground tropical thunderstorm dining experience!
Experience strobe lighting, waterfalls and tropical fish tanks while enjoying a meal in the heart of central London’s Theatreland.

We waited for more than 30 minutes for the starter (Nachos) and it wasn't even busy and approximately 1 hour for two main courses. The food wasn't that special and oily and extremely pricey in return. Big disappointment.Read More
This was definitely a disappointing experience as far as it rainforest cafes go. The service was fine and friendly. The food was not very good. It really hardly ever is at any of the rainforest cafes. We basically go for the ambiance but this was what was extremely disappointing. None of the animals moved when it was time to. We heard all of the sounds but no movement or light show going on at...Read More
Steak was good, especially the peppercorn sauce for dipping. The price of the meal was outrageous. I know it was a bit pricy, but two steaks and two Pepsi and a side of corn, 90 pounds.... wow!Read More
Went to the Rainforest Cafe for a family dinner after a show. The concept arguably is brilliant and kids are sure to love it - particularly the moving animal props.
The menu has the standard American fare and here are a selection of drinks as well. I found the drinks are pricey with £5.50 for a 300ml Budweiser and £10-£15 for a pretty ordinary cocktail particularly for the kind of...Read More
Monkey gibbers, birds chirping, the sounds of rain falling and let's not forget the lush foliage, vines and ferns decorating the ceiling - are you in a rainforest? Well you might as well be as it's the Rainforest cafe! This place is awesome and not just for kids. I've wanted to come here for ages and I'm so glad that I did.
Looking around the underground beauty it's hard not to be in awe of...Read More
